QotD: My Dream Room
In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
Warm earth tones, filled with art and artful treasures from world travels. Books. A comfy chair to read/watch television. A hidden television. Radio at my fingertips. Uncluttered. Less furniture is better. Big windows. Plants. A cat. A bay window.
I think square/cube would be boring. A slice from a round building (green design) would be nifty. Or a converted farm or barn silo.
I obviously watch too much HGTV.

A second floor round room like one sees in in corner turret in Victorian houses with a good view of a woods and a lake.

Books on bookshelfs covering most of the walls.
Perhaps a sofa instead of a chair for those quick snoozes.
Hm. I'll go with a chaise-lounge! The perfect midway point between couch and chair/ottoman.
